Section 1 in The Gujarat Emergency Medical Services Act, 2007
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Gujarat Emergency Medical Services Act, 2007.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Gujarat.(3)This section shall come into force at once and the remaining provisions shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of the Act and any reference in any such provision to the date of the commencement of this Act shall be construed as the reference to the date of coming into force of that provision.
