36. Dismissal, removal, reduction or termination of services of staff of University.
(1)No officer or employee or member of the teaching, nonteaching and other academic staff of the University shall be terminated, dismissed or removed or reduced in rank except alter an inquiry in which he has been informed of the charges against him and given a reasonable opportunity of being heard in respect of those charges.(2)An appeal against an order under sub-section (1) shall be preferred to the Pro-Chancellor within ninety days from the date of communication of such order and the decision of the Pro-Chancellor in such appeal shall be final.
