(2)Any contravention of the provisions of sub-section (1) shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to two years or with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees or with both; and if any association or institution is guilty of such contravention, every member thereof, who knowingly or willfully authorizes or permits the contravention, shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to two years or with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees or with both.
