- [2.1] In these statutes, unless the context, otherwise requires,-(a)"Act" means the Gujarat Act No. 25 of 2011 (An Act' to amend the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009);(b)"Governing Body" means the Governing Body of the University;(c)"Board of Management" means the Board of Management of the University;(d)"Clause" means a clause of the statutes in which that expression occurs;(e)"Section" means a section of the Act; and(f)"Academic Staff" shall include Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant. Professor, Reader, Lecturer, Librarian, Assistant Librarian, Programmer, System Manager and such other academic posts as may be decided by the Board of Management.
