2. Definitions.
- In these rules unless the context otherwise requires -(a)"Act" means the Oil Industry (Development) Act, 1974 (47 of 1974);(b)"Committee" means any of the Committees appointed by the Board under sub-section (6) of section 3;(c)Officer of the Board includes the Secretary, Joint Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Board and such other person as may be designated by the Board;(d)"Secretary" means the Secretary tot he Board appointed under sub-section (1) Section 5;(e)"Section" means a Section of the Act.Chapter-II The Board and its Committees
