Section 6(a) in The Punjab Motor Spirit (Taxation of Sales) Rules, 1939
(a)Any licence granted under these rules may be amended by the Petrol Taxation Officer granting such licence : provided that the amendment shall not be inconsistent with the provisions of the Act, or of these rules.
