                                                         ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to issue a direction to the Additional Judge Family Court, Chennai to take the case in M.C.158 of 2021 on file and dispose of the same within a Stipulated time fixed by this court and pass such further or other orders as this Court.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that, petitioners have filed M.C.158 of 2021, seeking maintenance from respondent under Section 125 of Cr.P.C. There is also an Application in M.P.No.387 of 2022 filed, seeking Interim Maintenance. Interim Maintenance Application has to be disposed within a period of 60 days of service of notice to the respondent, however, Interim Maintenance Application is not disposed. Therefore, this petition is filed to direct the Additional Judge Family Court, Chennai to take the case in M.C.158 of 2021 on file and dispose it.

3. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, directing the VII Additional 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Crl.O.P.No.5555 of 2023 Family Court, Chennai to dispose the Interim Maintenance Application in M.P.No.387 of 2022 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order and then proceed with the main petition in M.C.158 of 2021.
