SHRI GIRISH BHALCHANDRA BAPAT (PUNE): Naturopathy is an ancient non-invasive rational system of healing that practices natural elements based on the theory of self-healing capacity of the body, vitality, and toxemia. There is the need of the hour to promote naturopathy for the benefits of common man.
Construction of Nisarg Gram Project of National Institute of Naturopathy, Pune is going on at Yewalewadi, Pune. In India, this will be the first Naturopathy College and IPD Hospital. As “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" is a series of events being organized by the Ministry of AYUSH to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of India’s Independence, the Government of India should take necessary steps to complete the Nisarg Gram Project within scheduled time. It would be a matter of great pride if this project is inaugurated in the early months of the 75th year of independence. Hence, I would request the hon’ble minister to look into the matter personally.
