Section 6(4) in The Manipur Consumer Protection Rules, 1989
(4)The President and the Members of the State Commission shall hold office for a term of five years or up to the age of 65 years whichever is earlier and shall not be eligible for renomination.Provided that the President and Members may,-(a)by writing under his hand and addressed to the State Government resign his office at any time ;(b)be removed from his office in accordance with provisions of sub-rule (5).
