5. Penalties.
- Whoever contravenes the provisions of section 3 or any of the conditions subject to which a licence has been granted under section 4, shall, on conviction, be punishable with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees and when the contravention is a continuous one, with a further fine which may extend to five hundred rupees for every day during which such contravention is continued or continues.
