19. In this case, it is clear that the suit properties were created as a result of endowments by the ancestors of the plaintiff Nos. 3 to 6. The properties were dedicated to the idol for the sacred purpose. It is also on record that when the endowment was made no deed providing for management of the suit property was made in writing nor any trust was created for management of the same. Under the law also, there is no requirement of a deed and in this case, the dedication to the idol is absolute and not partial. The endowment was created without providing for passing of any benefit or income accruing therefrom in favour of the descendants of the dedicator while creating the endowments.
