 and background of the case:

Vide  RTI   application dated  02.12.2014  the  complainant   sought   certified  copy  of  all   official  records/information of her.

CPIO vide letter dated 08.12.2014 responded stating that no such information as has been sought  is available. The complainant preferred first appeal, which was not disposed of. Aggrieved by the  response of the Public Authority, the Complainant preferred the instant Complaint before the  Commission. 

Relevant facts emerging during hearing:

The Complainant was not present to attend the hearing despite advance notice served, however,  the   Respondent   was   present.   He   submitted   that   the   Complainant   is   an   employee   of   the  organisation and is well aware that the information she is seeking will be available with her  employer­department viz. BARC [Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Trombay]. However, for  reason/s unknown she chose to seek the information through the DAE, which has no direct  access to such information. 

Decision:

After hearing parties and perusal of record, the Commission is of the opinion that there is no  merit in the case. The Complainant is an employee of BARC and yet is not clear about the  information she wishes to procure from the Respondent. In any event, she is not present to  canvass her case. 

Accordingly, the Complaint is disposed of.
