Heard Sri Adarsh Mehrotra, the petitioner-in person, Sri Gopal Kumar Srivastava, learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos.1, 2 and 7/State, Sri Umesh Chandra Pandey, learned Counsel for respondent No.4/Housing Board and Sri S. B. Pandey, learned Assistant Solicitor General of India for respondent Nos.6 and 8.
In this P.I.L., the petitioner is praying for the following reliefs:-
(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the opposite parties to make a survey of the all the properties residential and none residential, monuments and other high rise multi story building in the region of District Lucknow as well as other parts of the State as to whether they are safe from any aftershocks of the earth quake or any natural disasters.
