Petitioner-Aroor Singh, has filed the present petition under Section 438 of the Criminal Procedure Code seeking concession of anticipatory bail in FIR No. 144 dated 28.3.2010 registered at Police Station Civil Lines, Amritsar, under Sections 420, 489A,489B, 489C, 489D/34 IPC. He was granted interim anticipatory bail by this Court, vide order dated 8.7.2010. It has been stated by learned counsel for the petitioner that in pursuance of the order dated 8.7.2010, he has joined the investigation.
