counting his regular service only. The MACP Scheme was
introduced by Central Government vide circular dated 19.5.2009
(Annexure A-8) made ... benefit of ACP
and MACP. In this connection, it is important to note that both
ACP and MACP Schemes are clear and provide grant
Commission.
Subsequently, the ACP Scheme was modified, and a new scheme
called Modified Assured Career Progression (for brevity MACP)
Scheme was made effective from ... basically claiming financial upgradation under MACP in
the promotional hierarchy which is contrary to the MACP Scheme.
11. According to the respondents, that
whereby their
request for grant of 2nd financial upgradation under MACP Scheme
w.e.f. 01.09.2009 has been rejected by the respondents.
2. The facts ... After introduction of 6th CPC , the earlier ACP Scheme was
superseded by a new Scheme called MACP Scheme whereby three
financial upgradation are allowed

point of time was in order. He further
submitted that subsequently MACP Scheme was introduced by the
DoPT vide O.M. dated ... also observed that the same condition is also
provided under MACP Scheme under para 20 thereof (Annexure-I of
A-5).
