submitted that, the petitioner was holding two accounts with SBI. These
were : NRE Account 6384 and NRO Account 684. Besides this, the
petitioner had also ... India, he was not
interested in SBI acting on his behalf for collection of dividends and/or
interest and other matters relating to his investment
history leading to the appeal is as follows:
The
appellant-assessee had NRE account in which Assessing Officer,
during the course of the assessment proceedings ... Therefore, the submission
of the assessee that he has shown bank interest in his return of
income is not correct. Thus, the assessee failed
clarified that
the return was filed in India in respect of the interest income
earned in India. In addition tot he said income earned ... that the impugned amount was
received by a cheque No. 858287 of NRE Account No. 10372 with Punjab
National Bank. On account of these facts

branch office of HSBC 12 Basant Lok New Delhi ... suit.
11. However, no case has been made out for considering the interest
@24% p.a. in the present socioeconomic milieu. The pre suit
