(Non-Functional Grade). This grade is to be granted to a Pharmacist (Entry
Grade) on a non-functional basis after 2 years
would be contrary to the MACP Scheme.
Ignoring the granting of non-functional Grade Pay of
Rs.5400/- in PB-2 for the purpose ... posts.
On the other hand, this is a case wherein non-functional higher
Grade Pay has been awarded to employees on completion of a
certain
Scheme which states thus:
"Promotions earned in the post carrying same
grade pay in the promotional hierarchy as per

upgradation/promotions including non-
functional grades granted have to be treated
as an offset against one financial upgradation
