In Pramod Kumari v. Om Prakash, AIR 1980 SC 446 : (1980 All LJ 163) the Supreme Court held that the Court has power to supply words in order to effectuate the intention of the testator. Understood in the light of the relevant principles, the expression 'cash in hand' has to be construed widely to include the balances in the Savings Bank Accounts of the testator.
