9. The Hon'ble Apex Court in case of Smt. Akhtari Bi v. State of Madhya
Pardesh 2001 (4) SCC 355 has laid down that after conviction in the trial Court
where the appeal filed by the convict cannot be disposed within 5 years, for no
fault of the convicts, the convict may be released on bail on such conditions as
may be deemed fit and proper by the Court.
