Again, in its judgment in the case of National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences Vs. K. Kalyana Raman & Others 1992 Supp. (2) SCC 481, the Supreme Court held that the Courts should be slow to interfere with the opinion of the Selection Committee particularly when such a Committee consisting of experts being men of high status and also of unquestionable integrity. The same principle is applicable to the Appointing Authority also.
