If we are to accept the submission of the petitioner on the basis of the judgment of Radha Sundar Dutta AIR 1956 SC 24 (supra), then the period mentioned in the earlier clauses that is Sections 6, 7(a)(d) should be accepted. However, the petitioners themselves have explained the period mentioned in Section 12(a). It was submitted on behalf of the petitioners that this period is for fixing the liability upon the respondent for bringing into the purview of this agreement, the works produced for the said period mentioned in the said clause.
