Since the
lands were held by the petitioner in excess of
the prescribed ceiling limit under the Gujarat
Agricultural Lands Ceiling Act, 1960 (hereinafter
referred ... Ceiling Act. This is one more reason for
coming to the conclusion that the Ceiling
Act as amended applies to "bid lands
under Sub-section (1) of Section 8 of the Gujarat Agricultural Lands Ceiling Act, 1960. The facts in brief are as under.
