Section 2(u) in Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence Act, 2018
(u)"Teacher" means and includes a Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Reader or Lecturer or such other person as may be appointed for imparting instruction or conducting or to guide research in the University or in a Constituent College and includes the Principal or Director of Constituent College in conformity with the norms specified by the University Grants Commission;
