Section 7(4)(d) in THE PAYMENT OF GRATUITY ACT, 1972

(d)[] [Clauses (b), (c) and (d) shall be relettered as Clauses (c), (d) and (e) respectively, and before Clause (c) as so relettered, Clause (b) inserted and new Clause (c) substituted by Act 25 of 1984, Section 4 (w.e.f. 1.7.1984). ] The controlling authority shall pay the amount deposited, including the excess amount, if any, deposited by the employer, to the person entitled thereto.
