Section 61 in The Maharashtra Water Conservation Corporation Act, 2000
61. Repeal of Maharashtra ordinary XIII of 2000 and saving.
(1)The Maharashtra Water Conservation Corporation Ordinance, 2000 is hereby repealed.(2)Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken (including any notification issued or nomination, appointment or rule made) under the said Ordinance, shall be deemed to have been done, taken or issued, as the case may be, under the corresponding provisions of this Act.NotificationsG.N., R.D & W.C.D. No. WCN. 1000/CR188/JAL-7, dated 22nd August, 2000 (M.G Part IV-B, page 22). - As per provisions of section 3(1) of Maharashtra Ordinance No. XIII of 2000, Maharashtra Water Conservation Corporation has been established with effect from 21st August 2000.
