Section 3(2) in The Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947
(2)The President of the Council shall be elected by the members of the Council from among themselves: Provided that for five years from the first constitution of the Council the President shall be a person nominated from amongst the members of the Council by the Central Government, who shall hold office during the pleasure of the Central Government.
