Section 18 in C. P. and Berar General Clauses Act, 1914
18. Official chiefs and subordinates.
- In any [Madhya Pradesh Act] [Substituted for the words 'Provincial Act' by Adaptation Order 1950.] it shall be sufficient, for the purpose of expressing that a law relating to the chief or superior of an office shall apply to the deputies or subordinates lawfully performing the duties of that office in the place of their superior, to prescribe the duty of the superior.
