31. Appointment of Ad-hoc Committees.
(1)The Corporation may from time to time appoint out of its own body such ad-hoc Committees consisting of such number of councillors as it shall think fit, and may refer to such Committees for inquiry and report or for opinion, such special subjects relating to the purposes of this Act as it shall think fit, and direct that the report of any such Committee shall be submitted thorough the Standing Committee or a Special Committee constituted under section 30.(2)An ad-hoc Committee appointed under sub-section (1) may, with the previous sanction of the Corporation, co-opt not more than two persons who are not councillors but who in the opinion of the Committee possess special qualifications for serving thereon.Joint Committees
