Section 138 in The Delhi Co-Operative Societies Act, 2003
138. Power of the Registrar to give directions to the co- operative banks.
- The Registrar may generally or in any particular matter under this Act or for enforcement of directions of the Reserve Bank to protect the interest of members and depositors of the co-operative banks licensed by the Reserve Bank and registered under this Act or operating in Delhi under the Multi-State Co-operative Societies Act, 2002 (39 of 2002), issue such orders or directions as he may consider necessary to a co-operative bank or banks and thereupon such cooperative bank shall give effect to such orders or directions and shall report to him the compliance within the time specified in the order or direction.
