Section 2(d) in The West Bengal Clinical Establishments Act, 1950
(d)"nursing home" means an establishment where persons suffering from illness, injury or infirmity whether of body or mind are usually [ received or accommodated or both] [Words substituted by West Bengal Act 24 of 1976.] for the purpose of [observation] [Word inserted by West Bengal Act 30 of 1992.], nursing and treatment and includes a maternity home;
