21. Savings.

- The Community Certificate issued by the Competent Authority prior to the commencement of these Rules should be treated as a valid certificate.Annexure IGovernment hereby notify that the authorities mentioned below in column (2) of the table within their territorial jurisdiction as "Competent Authorities" for issue of Community, Nativity and Date of Birth Certificate declaring the persons as belonging either to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe as per notification of the Government of India and to Backward Classes in accordance with the notification of the Government of Andhra Pradesh issued from time to time.
