Section 2(i) in The Bombay State Dental Council (Reconstitution And Reorganization Order, 1961
(i)"Karnataka area" means the districts of Bijapur, Dharwar and Kanara and the Belgaum district (excluding the Chandgad taluka) transferred from the former State of Bombay to the new State of Mysore by virtue of CL (b) of sub-section (1) of Sec. 7 of the States Reorganisation Act,-1956 (37 of 1956);
