39. Pay, leave and other matters. [(Section 42(2) and Section 65(2)(f)].
- In respect of pay, leave and all other matters not expressly provided for in these rules the members of the Service shall be governed as far as may be by such laws, rules and regulations as may have been adopted or made by the Competent authority for the State Government employees of the corresponding status. The scales of pay at present in force are given in Appendix I to these rules :Provided that the Punjab Council, for any other matter not expressly provided in this rule, shall lay down such guidelines as it may deem fit to carry out the work of the Punjab Council.
