Section 337(3) in Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965
(3)If the Chairperson or Vice-Chairperson of a council fails to hand over any documents of, or any moneys or other properties vested in, or belonging to, the council which are in or have come into his possession or control, to his successor in office or other prescribed authority, in every case as soon as his term of office as Chairperson or Vice-Chairperson expires and in the case of the Vice-Chairperson also on demand by the Chairperson, such Chairperson or Vice-Chairperson shall, on conviction, be punished with fine not exceeding one thousand rupees for every such offence.
