Section 5(iv) in The Assam Elementary Education (Provincialisation) Rules, 1977
(iv)A venture school should possess at least 2 bighas of land in rural areas and 1 bighas of land in the urban area. This condition may, however, be relaxed by Government in suitable cases. [D.I. shall take the advice of the board in selecting the school fulfilling the above conditions for taking over and forward the list for approval of the D.E.E. in suitable cases.
