Section 10(1) in The Bengal Suppression Of Terrorist Outrages Act, 1932
(1)The District Magistrate may, by order in writing published in such manner as he thinks best adapted for informing the persons concerned, -(a)prohibit or regulate the purchase, sale or delivery of, or other dealing in, any arms, parts of arms, ammunition or explosive substances; or(b)direct that any person owning or having in his possession or under his control any arms, parts of arms, ammunition or explosive substances, shall keep the same in a secure place approved by the District Magistrate or remove them to any place specified in the order.
