Section 42(1) in Tamil Nadu Maritime Board Act, 1995
(1)Whenever the Government consider it necessary in the pubic interest so to do, they may, by order in writing together with a statement of reasons therefor, direct the Board to cancel any of the scales in force or modify the same within such period as the Government may specify in the order.
