Section 61(1) in The Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya Act, 2000
(1)The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, transfer such assets and liabilities including lands, buildings, books, equipments and laboratories belonging to the former University as may be considered necessary for the proper functioning of the University, keeping in view the overall interest of the former University and the University.
