Section 90(2) in Chennai City Municipal Corporation Act, 1919
(2)The [standing committee on taxation and finance] [Inserted by Tamil Nadu Act 15 of 1965.] may either approve or amend such schedule as it thinks fit and shall lay it before the council with its remarks, if any.
