(1)The Inspector Genera! shall exercise his powers and perform his functions, under this Act subject to the general supervision and control of the Government, and the other officers appointed under this Act shall work under the general supervision; control and direction of the Inspector General and shall be responsible to him.(2)The Inspector General shall be responsible for the allotment of work to the officers appointed under this Act and may delegate ally of his functions to such officers.
