(2)The first-aid boxes or cup-boards shall be distinctively marked with a red cross on a white background and shall contain the following equipment, namely:-(i)six sterilised dressings;(ii)three large-size sterilized dressings;(iii)one bottle containing a 2 per cent alcoholic solution of iodine;(iv)one bottle containing salvolatile having the dose and mode of administration indicated on the label;(v)one bottle of potassium permanganate crystals;(vi)one pair of scissors; and(vii)adhesive plaster.
