Section 27(1) in Andhra Pradesh Motor Transport Workers Rules, 1963
(1)The Chief Inspector .may on written application from an employer, subject to such conditions and for such period as' he may think fit, permit motor transport workers to work for more than 8 hours in any day or 48 hours in any week but in no case more than 10 hours in a day and 54 hours in a week,-(i)on any route of 100 kilometres or more; and(ii)on such festive or other occasions as may be notified by the Government in the Official Gazette.
