Section 8(a) in The U.P. Electricity Regulatory Commission (Appointment and Conditions of Service of the Chairperson and Members) Rules, 2008
(a)The chairperson or a member shall be entitled to a rent free accommodation of the type admissible to the Chief Secretary in the case of Chairperson and the Principal Secretary in the case of a member.
