3. Notification of intention of developing and regulating marketing of agricultural produce in specified area.
(1)Upon a representation made by any person or local authority or by the growers of any agricultural produce within the area for which a market is proposed to be established or otherwise, the Government or the person appointed by the Government as the State Marketing Officer, may, by notification in the Official Gazette and in such other manner as may be prescribed, declare its or his intention of developing and regulating the marketing of such agricultural produce in such area as may be specified in the notification.(2)A notification under sub-section (1) shall state that any objection or suggestion which may be received by the Government or the State Marketing Officer within a period which shall be not less than thirty days from the date of publication of such notification in the Official Gazette, shall be considered by the Government or the State Marketing Officer.
