Section 20(1) in The Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition And development) Act, 1957
(1)Appeals.Any person aggrieved by any award of the Tribunal under section 14 may, within thirty days from the date of such award, prefer an appeal to the High Court within whose jurisdiction the land or some portion of the land which has been acquired or the land or some portion of the land covered by a prospecting licence or by a mining lease in respect of which mining rights have been acquired is situate.
