No Court shall take cognizance of any offence under this Chapter after the expiry of the period of limitation provided for in Section 468 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. The provisions of Chapter XXXVI of the Code of Criminal Procedure shall apply for computing the period of limitation.
