6. Permit to work as Chartered Electrical Safety Engineer, Eligibility and conditions.
(1)Permit to work as Chartered Electrical Safety Engineer shall be granted to those who have the following qualification and experience: -(a)Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering: and(b)At least five years of experience in operation and maintenance of electrical installations:Provided that he shall not possess any electrical contractor' licence or SCC to work, or permit to work as supervisor or WCC to work or permit to work as wireman issued by the office of the Chief/Senior Electrical Inspector (HoD). In case the candidate is already possessing such licences, certificates or permit, he shall surrender the same before receiving the permit to work as Chartered Electrical Safety Engineer.
