Section 17(1) in Compensatory Afforestation Fund Rules, 2018

(1)The Selection Committee to prepare the panel of eligible candidates for appointment of non-official members of the National Authority shall comprise of the following, namely:-
(i) Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest andClimate Change, Government of India - Chairman;
(ii) One Secretary from any other Ministry of theCentral Government to be nominated by the Ministry ofEnvironment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India - Member;
(iii) One Chief Secretary from the State Government tobe nominated by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and ClimateChange, Government of India -Member;
(iv) Director General of Forests and SpecialSecretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change,Government of India - Member;
(v) Additional Director General of Forests (ForestConservation), Ministry of Environment, Forest and ClimateChange, Government of India - Member;
(vi) Additional Director General of Forests(Wildlife), Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change,Government of India - Member;
(vii) Chief Executive Officer of the NationalAuthority - Member-Secretary.
