JUSTICE SAMEER JAIN Order 02/12/2022 Learned counsel for the petitioner has fairly conceded before the court that the advertisement was issued in the year 1992; whereas, the selection process concluded in the same year as well. The present petition was filed with a delay of 14 years, without any specific averments to satisfy the court of the prolonged delay in filing of the petition.
After arguing the matter at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition.
In light of the said submission and relying upon the judgment of the Apex Court reported in (2022) 2 SCC 25 titled as Union of India (UOI) and Ors. vs. N. Murugesan and Ors., this court is inclined to dismiss the present writ petition.
Accordingly, the present writ petition is dismissed. All other pending applications are also dismissed.
