Section 3(1) in Karnataka Universities of Agricultural Sciences Act, 1963
(1)There shall be constituted in, and for the [State of Karnataka] [Adopted by the Karnataka adaptation of laws order 1973 w.e.f. 1.11.1973] a University by the name of the University of Agricultural Sciences, which shall consist of a Chancellor, a Pro- Chancellor, a Vice-Chancellor, a Dean, a Board of Regents and an Academic Council.
